There are plenty of other options and lots of food and excitement to be had.  This is the tip of the adventure iceberg so to speak.  Feel free to plan your own adventures on this weekend with the info above.  We will also have rafting for those interested or for those that would like to learn about raft captaining, but you must communicate this with Megan before June 20th in order to make sure we have enough raft space and kayak support can be provided from those who have the skills and want to kayak the Lower Yough on Friday the 26th.  On Saturday the 27th there will be a group of us kayaking the Lower Yough and Sunday the 28th could be another Lower Yough run or a Loop run depending on interest.

The club will have a group camp site at the Kentuck Campground from the 25th to the 28th.

FRIDAY - June 26th - Ready to run shuttle from the boater parking lot at 10:00am.  Lower Yough section of the Youghiogeny River from Ohiopyle to Bruner Run.  This is a 7.2 mile stretch of solid Class 3 whitewater with 20 rapids.  If you are kayaking you need to have your own gear, solid class 3 boating skills, and it's recommended you have a roll, cause swims can be long and rocky. There will be rafting available for those interested but you must contact Megan by June 24th so arrangements can be made accordingly.  Trip Leader Megan Barrick.  I am willing to share my knowledge of raft guiding if anyone is interested in learning.

SATURDAY - June 27th - Ready to run shuttle from the boater parking lot at 10:00am.  Lower Yough section of the Youghiogeny River from Ohiopyle to Bruner Run.  This is a 7.2 mile stretch of solid Class 3 whitewater with 20 rapids.  You will need to have your own gear, solid class 3 boating skills, and it's recommended you have a roll, cause swims can be long and rocky.  Trip Leader Megan
